I noticed in conversations and reports from my investment manager lately that my bank's outlook on the US economy has been trending downwards too. At least the losses I made as part of Trump threatening to unleash a trade war have been erased and my funds have been back to steady growth for some time.

Laci Green hasn’t joined the alt right, at least not yet. She is, however, on the slippery slope.
I don’t know her but going off of her videos, she saw feminism as a lifestyle moreso than what it is supposed to be, an ideology that is based on opposition to patriarchy which is itself an ideology and an economic system. Patriarchy, white supremacy and capitalism are ideologies and systems that work to take from certain types of people and enrich other types of people.
Green made the common mistake that many middle class radicals make. She saw social justice as simply a matter of increasing the self esteem of the oppressed and educating the oppressors of the harms that they unknowingly cause. The trouble with that approach is twofold. Most oppressors either don’t care or they publically deny such while they enjoy the benefits of systemic plunder.
For liberals like Green, they can be won over to the right wing by oppressors who are able to present as cosmopolitan and polite and educated. Again, if you think that oppression is the result of ignorance and bad manners, who knows how your liberal self will react when you come into contact with a sexist or a racist who is articulate and able to treat you with a base level of respect.
If you are on the political left, never lose sight of first principles. While the world is a vast and complex place, never forget that systems exist and they exist as a result of design and their goal is to redistribute tangible and intangible goods from a subordinate groups to dominant groups.
