Two things.
I noticed that Trump Adminstration has low key been radicalizing Klein. Dude used to be way more tolerant of bad right wing ideas in the past. I remember him and Mathew Yglesias used to get into it and Yglesias would kinda call him kinda naive.
Second, Sam Harris is really a sucka. Dude has zero understanding about the nuances of racism and can't handle someone calling that out. He does not want that face to face smoke with Klein. One of Erza's best talents is calling out flawed reasoning. Sam would not have a good time

Ezra just strikes me as an extremely nice dude ....a nice dude who Sam Harris just pushed too far.

It would probably be a better idea to train police officers better and drastically increase enforcement of (potential) police misconduct to decrease the rates of them going around shooting unarmed folks left and right.
These officers emptied fired 20 shots at the man. 20. Tasers exist for a reason and should be prioritized at all times to deal with perceived threats that don't appear to be armed or within quick striking distance of the officer.

He is still tolerant but not has much as he used to be. He used to give nearly everyone the benefit of the doubt, but now he rights off those who hibitually line step.Ezra still seems pretty tolerant tbh.

You posted an article with a link where the mother suggested shooting, but not to kill. I asked if you thought shooting to maim was a good idea. Instead of answering that, you avoided the question. It seems clear that most on here agree that is not a good idea. Sorry to quote you again.

Completely terrible idea. Police aren't and will never be trained to maim, if the gun is fired the intent is immobilization. Center mass and up. Gun safety 101, you don't aim a firearm at anything you don't intend to kill.
Tasers, batons, and pepper spray are for everything else.
