Official Pizza Appreciation!

Went to Brooklyn for dessert wound up with that & 🍕. This is from Ace's on Drigg's Ave. Went with the large pie(Detroit style/$27). We all liked it a lot. Very light, pillowy & delicious cheese. In true Detroit fashion the cheese was on the bottom & the sauce on top(weirdo Midwestern'ers) lol.

Bonus pics of desserts around Brooklyn: Fan Fan Donuts, Levain Bakery, Hidden Grounds & chicken sandwich from Namkeen.

Oh my god man. That Detroit pizza looks like heaven

Andys has spots in DC and VA, very good pizza, recommended to eat fresh. I wouldn't necessarily call it NY style pizza like they do, more like good pizza in the stylings of NY.

Just saw a post about Andy’s the other day. Looks good. Added a couple locations to my Google Maps list. Think there’s one or two in MD too.

I’ve been to Aces before very legit. I used to work around that area. But yeah man you ain’t lying. I just be hating the prices.
Yeah man, times we live in...inflation & cost of labor have upsetted the pleasure of dining but that ain't stopping my fatass

CJMcfly26 CJMcfly26 That's dope bro, another local. You ever go to this spot? They're straight 🔥

Vincent Van Goat Vincent Van Goat You're local, right? Go get yourself some & report back.
Bruv I’m in freakin Texas. I haven’t found a single dope pizza spot in the total of 4 years I’ve lived here

I found like 1 but it is just alright

Anyone know any in Dallas??? I should have asked this a long time ago

Hit up Cascarino's in Queens, Margherita Pizza on Jamaica Avenue, Queens, Funzi's at Saint Mark's Place, Manhattan & Patsy's on 1st. Funzi's lost their name because the owner pulled out of the business & they haven't came up with a new name just yet.

Margherita wasn't all that & Funzi's sauce had a weird aftertaste. Bonus pics of dessert spots we hit.

Louie’s are known for their Sicilians. Decent spot. They’re heroes too. The father and son owners got stabbed while saving a woman from getting robbed.

Yup, that's them. Early last year IIRC, glad they made it through. I'll try the Sicilian next time.
