i was talking to this guy at Ritz, and said that Adorama doesnt have warranties for their lenses and blah blah blah.
Was he just saying that so i would buy it from them? (Ritz) because clearly, it says it comes with a warranty on adorama.

Have you seen the actual lens in real life? Its mad small, pretty much the size of a nifty fifty.

I suck at taking pictures of food, never get the angle I want with the plate. I thought this one came out decent. C/C?
White balance!
The dof is a bit shallow for food IMO - should at least be able to see the food a couple of inches from the front in focus. The crop is a little tight too -the bottom of the plate is badly chopped.
You're probably a little high too - looking too down on the food - but that is probably more to do with the presentation of the food on the plate ratherthan anything else.
I have a SD870is ($260 CDN, 8 months ago), copped my girl a SD850is ($220 CDN, 2 months ago), and my friend picked up the new SD880is (I'veseen it for 250-270 CDN recently).Originally Posted by nealraj006
My mom is going out of town on thursday and she's looking for a Point & Shoot camera. She wants a simple camera that's small, but takes good pictures. I've been looking around and I'm leaning towards the Canon A1000 or SD750. I was just hoping to get some feedback before she bought it. So if anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.
