Ross Is Here,
If you go to a good print shop they should have canvas they can run through a printer. I know my school has an Epson 11880 and Epson 9800 both of which they'll print canvas with. I personally wouldn't do that to a photograph but if you live in a decent enough city shouldn't be to difficult a task to find somewhere that prints on canvas.
i got the idea when i went to urban outfitters, they got like 4 pictures that were printed on canvas. one of them was some records that werestacked and the others were a picture of a vinyl shop...the pieces looked really nice, lighting and highlights was really good. but i didnt feel like spendingthe $$$ for that they asking for, Id rather use my own pictures and find a way to print them on canvas. I actually found one here in san diego, but i haventasked how much they would charge me.
2) Getting my camera wet.
Your camera is probably pretty waterproof. It can sometimes be hard keeping raindrops off your lens but a little water on the body isn't going to do anyharm.
Dropped mine in a bog a couple of weeks ago (the day I took some of those mountain ones I was climbing up one with my camera on the tripod and I slipped and ittook a good dunking) and it still works fine.

Especially off a dock with water in the background.
The only thing I am scared of is:
1) Getting electrocuted.
2) Getting my camera wet.
But when I get that chance i'll die happy.
Peace.
