i have a quick begginer question


i am buyign the xsi and im very interested in the canon 15mm fisheye lens , but it doesnt have image stablazation ?

tell me your thoughts on this , will i be able to take photos without a tripod that look decent ? ive heard nothing but great things about this lens but imjust new to this and no is could be crucial for me let me know

I am torn between the Canon or the Tokina. I like the Tokina cause the distortion is more drastic but everyone tells me to get the Canon cause it's betterto stick with the same brand brand. Any thouhts? Oh, I am basing the Tokina on Neek's pics cause I think that is what he has...........

I think the fisheye shoots fast enough. I remember I emailed the Hundreds staff and they told me that Bobby uses the Canon XTi and he shot some skate photoswith it and they came out decent without the image stabilizer. I think the Canon one is pretty dope but I just want it a little bit more distorted to thepics.....like the Tokina since it goes to 10mm. I am still not sure though. I think it will be one of those things that I have to just try but it's goingto cost me in the long run......

And I am not even sure on the filter thing. From my knowledge, I don't think so but that's just me.

Hey, i know this is a very redundant question to ask, but i tried to search within the forum, which just brought up another 100+ pages. But what the best macroand fisheye lens to get for the digital rebel. Im looking for either lens to be between free-300 dollars each, but the cheaper the better for me. but thenagain i dont wanna sacrifice quality. ..

It's called a long exposure. Technically you don't need a specific type of film but to get an ideal color balance you'd want tungsten filmbut you could use whatever film you want really. And film is far better at long exposures than digital because of the way digital picks up light off the sensorin short.
