I expect this post to be booming soon. [sarcasm] Shout out to all my fellow Jordan 10 lovers and collectors who are interested in these to add to their Jordan 10 collections. In fact, post pics of your 10 collections!!![end sarcasm]

Very true and I got a feeling that they're gonna release on some sites as well.

Tier zero- access to select nike lab releases, and the most limited jordan releases
hyper strike- gets most retros and some limited edition items
quick strike- gets GRs as well as limited edition nike sportsware and sb releases, mostly made up of skate shops.
general/indie/energy accts- stores like a running shoe store, urban outfitters, pacsun, rackroom, etc. gets only gr and mass produced shoes and constantly re stock them.

Thank you and repped. What would the big chain stores like Footlocker and FNL be in or are they in a separate category and these categories are for mom and pops and boutiques?

Tier 1 except for House of Hoops (footlocker) and Flight23 (Footaction). Energy (Urban, elite, etc) accounts would come below 1. HOH and F23 because it's solely a nike conduit it is in essence a tier 0 retail space that has access to some of the most limited releases from the house Jordan built. A tier 0 can request a limited release without meeting the selling threshold needed by tier 1 to have access. Supposedly Nike is quite stingy with giving tier 0 status and supposedly less then 10 retailers in the U.S. have the distinction (ie: Kith, DSM, Barneys are tier 0 in NYC -- along with Nike's inline store NikeLab at 21Mercer).

If someone can explain the Nike tiers it would be greatly appreciated .

I don't think this is 100% accurate. The hyper strike and quick strike terms refer to a particular shoe release. A store isn't a quick strike store. If it carries quick strikes, it may be a tier-0.

But the best definition is a tier-0 is the highest level of Nike account. That means if a store has this type of account, they have access to the limited Nike and/or Jordan stuff. The term is usually reserved for boutiques. Also, if we want to get more technical, I believe tier-0 is a Nike Sportswear account. This means they get the rare Nike Sportswear stuff (Air Max Zero, 25th anniversary Air Max, Unholy Cummulus Prestos, Nike Yeezys, etc.). Jordan Brand usually piggy backs off this and will only release some of their rarer stuff like Don C II's at tier-0's in addition to chains like House of Hoops. This is in general because I know someone is going to point out a shoe that released in tier-0 as well as chains or something like that, but that still does not preclude a store from being a tier-0.

So, when I saw that Ubiq is releasing them, I can fairly assume that other tier-0's will get them, so I'll be on the lookout for tier-0's release procedures for a certain shoe.

@skip2myLou23 your right QS and HS are types of releases with QS having no paid media expense and a quick 2-week out notification to the retailer getting them hence the QS on certain releases. But I do know Nike does have quickstrike accounts. I know Extra Butter (in NYC) is a QS account through an acquaintance I had a couple of years ago who was a buyer for them.

Quick strike is a type of release AND a category/tier of stores. Footlockers are Quick Strike. Boutiques are tier zero

Okay, I see, but Extra Butter is a tier-0. Do you have an example of a store with a quick strike account that isn't a tier-0? I think they may be the same thing, just called by a different name.

Extra butter - tier zero
Footlockers - qs
