Everyday I check this thread because I thought the release was a pretty good one but once I seen the stuff going on behind the scenes and how people are trying so hard to get a $1,000 or more in their pockets.  I remember this one thing...IT'S NOT AN OG COLORWAY!  Though it maybe a collab that is low in numbers and could get the attention of people.  Jordan never played in them; I value the shoes Jordan played in a little more than the Retro +/some collab colorways.  It's just my opinion.

Thanks for the replies guys. Even at retail in Canada, I'm pretty sure the OVO's cost more than $100 CAD (about $75 USD) over Chi's. How much more cash should I ask for a fair deal? And does anyone else have any opinions?

Retail the OVO 10 are about $65 USD more and resell the CHI 1s are at about $430 average and OVO 10 somewhere between $600-$800. So i'll say about $200 to be fair or you could hit him over the head and ask for $300+ lol

I'm from T.O as well as locally...  I see OVO's going for about $650 CAD and Chi's for about $500+ depending on size.  If you can get anything over $150, I'd say you're winning.

Not necessarily. It's a silly discussion we're having but it's a break from the "Oct 3 speculation/resellers suck/OVO value" conversations that had been going on. Thome23 came left field with that garbage self esteem crap but other than that, we've had a nice lil debate. Hopefully I've opened people's eyes that the shoe world is bigger than every Saturday's general releases. There's a whole different market that can only accommodate a few people and those people are either A. well connected or B. well funded. Those of you who are neither A nor B can't begin to imagine or understand the logic behind participating in that other market. No need to count the next man's pockets, just salute him and keep it moving.

There's also another group separate of group A or B but I do get what you're trying to say.

i live in illinois. ds Chicago 1s are $350 all day in my local fb group

well obviously the more the better but local prices are different.  There's some for around $600 in local FB groups and a friend just bought a pair this week off kijiji for $650 which was a 9.5.  I have a friend that wears a 10.5 and he paid just over $700 on launch weekend.  Prices have dropped since then here as resellers are getting desperate.
