Just a heads up, take that to the buy sell page as selling on threads could get you in trouble in the future.

Been lurkin for a very long time figured my inclusion of donuts would come across as a joke like intended but my fault famo lol.

yup. Now if they actually do have a wider release price will drop even more

Still won't be easy. Imo probably similar location like SSB 1s. Your Nike towns, exclusive HoH and DTLR location, forgot the euro release. We'll see though probably come this weekend.

Since I copped so many, preorder site threw me a bone and let me cop for $720 a pop. I won 4 in a raffle. My personal size 12 was $815. $5,864 spent. I was expecting these to go for $1000+. I was going to undercut every reseller and resell for $950-$1000. I just wanted $200 profit off of my preorder pairs that would cover 1 of my size 12's (I was keeping both 12's for a total of $1535). With 1 covered and the other costing $800, it would basically be like I got 2 pairs for $400 a piece. However, shoe tanked so I had to sell the other size 12. After I get through dumping these, I should end up with my size 12 completely covered or at the least costing me $200 or less. I'm not afraid of selling for less than I paid because my 4 retail pairs will cover the hit. It's just a roller coaster ride, that's all. UNC 1's will put me back on track.

To those complaining about resellers, grow up. This is a different day and age. My local store had 3 pairs of size 12's that I didn't win. I tried to buy them from the winners but all 3 wanted theirs. They wouldn't even entertain a $900 offer. I AM THANKFUL FOR A RESELL SHOP THAT I WAS ABLE TO GET MY SIZE 12. Ok so there was a huge markup. And? Nobody forced me to buy the shoe. Those who constantly complain about resellers are those who can't afford resell prices. Nicer things in life cost more. A Ferrari will get you to the same destination as a Mustang. The difference? About $250K. Chipotle will fill you up just as much as CheeseCake Factory. The difference? About $30 a meal. OVO's are a rarer shoe. Are they worth $800? Of course not. However, there's a markup for nicer things. I'm willing to pay that markup because I've been blessed to do so. If you constantly have a problem with resell, go collect Yu-Gi-Oh cards or something...

Well....using Cheesecake Factory vs Chipotlee I find funny. Both are garbage. You don't know a good restaurant my friend. ******* Cheesecake Factory LOL!

Finer things in life cost $. Sneakers are not 'finer things'. They are a ******* sneaker made by a bunch of Chinese children with hundreds of % markup. Get real. I have $ because I know there is another release around the corner (probably next week) if I really want something. i don't pay resell for a cheaply made sneaker. Suckers do that or kids begging mommy for $.

I can care less about a good restaurant bruh. I was simply using an example that I'm sure you understood.

As far as that other garbage you just said, whatever. You're just rambling. Nothing you said matters in the least bit.

I even stated that these shoes aren't worth $800. They're not worth $225 either. Honestly, they're not worth $190 either. We both agree that they're not worth that much. I personally don't feel any retro Jordan before the XVII's should retail for more than $160. The value is in the eye of the beholder. There are baseball cards that are worth $1000+ which I personally find to be ridiculous. However, to a card collector that may be a bargain. In my case, I'm willing to pay resell for certain shoes that are at the top of the hobby I've been fully invested in for the last 14 years.

so with $6K tied up sounds like store brand peanut butter and jelly + tap water until further notice. at least its high in protein. maybe moms will cut the crust off. shout out to the finer things in life...

You think Royals are worth $600+? Yeezy 350s worth $700+? OVO 10s worth $700+? You may not think that, but there are plenty of people who do.

Sorry NTers flaked on you. That's dissappointing to hear. Problem is you bought high and are attempting to sell high. @alp bought 6 pairs at retail. He could sell each one of these all day at $500 for 100% profit. He bought at the lowest price point. You gauged your profit on intangibles. Intangibles that cannot be accurately measured like HYPE. The differences between a Ferrari and a Mustang are obvious and can be specifically measured to determine comparaitve value. Try measuring and assessing the value difference of the Double Nickel 10s vs. OVOs without using hype. Tough to do because sneaker hype is fickle and unpredictable. Sincerely though-Good luck moving those units and hopefully you can at least break even. If you drop $6K on OVOs you should be able to get a couple paris of UNCs at $160 huh?

A its taking a risk. Lol just like the guys who sold pre orders for chi 1s at $300 & you seen pairs going for $500. I'm sure by looking at Airforce1ing past post he's not hurting too badly. It happens though not going to win all the time. He also tried to help fellow NTers which flaked on him. So I'm not seeing what the problem is other than him making his money back up.

This is what we call a gamble gentleman. I took a gamble that didn't pan out as well as I would've wanted it too. I think we all over read that when the smoke clears my pair of $815 sz.12 OVO's were acquired for free thanks to the 4 retail pairs I copped. I'm in no way mad at this gamble. If it would've paid off in full then I'd have 2 pairs for free. No matter, I'm thinking 20 pairs of UNC 1's or I might do a modest 10 and try my hand at 30 pairs of Supreme 5's. Whatever the case, I'll be alright.

+1 boss...

Best of luck man. I know how it feels. I paid very much over retail for (2), but only keeping one.

I'm meeting with a buyer tomorrow, I've been out of the loop if fakes are really good.  Anything I should look out for as far as tags and receipts?  Thanks!
