based on how the draft went, seems like clarkson and shamet are gone and the knicks will try to re-sign mitch.

I mean clarkson can go. He did his part but we can find another vet who could do what he does for a vet minimum. Winning makes us a destination now.
Losing shamet would suck though. Would like Jose and Sochan back if they come pretty cheap too

Jose has a player option and I’m pretty sure he’s not planning on playing anywhere else. I’m curious as to whether we move Kolek or Deuce.

Tyler Nickel is pretty similar to Landry Shamet in terms of being a shooter. Doubt he plays much currently though and he might not stick long term.

i couldn't care less about this year's draft. we're champs!!! that said, never hurts to add more shooters. 2nd rounder will make far less than Shamet and it seems like Leon's preference is to resign Mitch somehow.

Man, I'm not paying much attention to the draft. We'll see how everything shakes out once the season starts. At the end of the day, none of us really knows.
People are already trying to throw Pacome into every trade proposal, but the guy was still putting up points in the G League, even if he wasn't the most efficient. My boy Deuce was a second-round pick too, and look how far he's come.
I also remember when everyone here was begging for Rokas Jokubaitis to finally come over to the States. Now it's like everyone forgot he even existed.
So yeah, I'm not putting much stock into any of this until the season starts. Even then, I expect these kids to spend most of their time on the bench. unless our bench gets blown up before opening night.

Well we know one thing. If you get sent to the g league and you aren’t putting up numbers you arent going to cut it. Kolek and duece proved that.

Based on the way they drafted; they will try to offer Mitch $10-12m; shamet is going to get paid somewhere. Signed on back to back minimums, you can’t really ask him to something similar this offseason and ain’t mad if he does . He needs the bank for himself like ihart. Won’t be surprised if San Antonio or Detroit goes after him. Unless you try to divided the cap room between them too
