Official Non-Hip-Hop Thread vol. Change We Can Believe In

Also, French electronica duo called AIR has some amazing stuff...don't know if there's any other fans on here.

Sigur Ros anyone?

Any Citizen Cope or Madlib fans? Not that they're intertwined at all, just what I've been listening to the last few days.

I just got into Pere Ubu recently.

Pretty cool post-punk act, similar to Bauhaus and The Cure before Robert Smith decided to be a 40-year old scene kid.

Check out Dub Housing and then The Modern Dance.

I just heard Adele's 19 this week. The album is great.

I've been playing Gnarls Barkley's The Odd Couple as well.

Is there any new material out that is worth checking for?

Need some recommendations everyone...anyone have some new music for me (not a metal/heavy rock person)?

Man I used to be obsessed with DMB, but I haven't listened to them consistently since high school (5 years). RIP to Leroi Moore btw. Regardless, I'mlooking forward to their new album as Shotgun and Idea of You haven't been released officially yet...

Bloc party is easily my favorite band of the last 4-5 years or so, i've seen them live about 8 times in that time span

New Animal Collective anyone?

I've got Bloc Party - A Weekend in the City playing today...

Yes I'm reviving this thread. I read the first page of the Music Forum and was painstakingly reminded WHY I made this thread.

The National - Geese

Does anyone else have Alligator or are National fans? A few of them are from Cinci and hit up local spots around there. I've hung with a few of them, theyseem like good guys.

^I've got a decent reggae collection. There was a great thread awhile back that had some good recommendations. Damien Marley and Sizzla have some amazingsongs.
