i'm kidding. what does closing the thread accomplish? nothing. a new one will be made and there won't be anymore suspended accounts. why? because all the heat just came out and so you have new accounts and posters coming in here who don't know the rules. i think you need to put a disclaimer page BEFORE you enter the Nike forum, not in the threads. no one reads the first page, and not everyone reads every page. the thread jumps 50 pages in one night for a release (and not due to selling, due to people not getting their hands on a pair) so that's my suggestion, and it would work.
but anyways, this happend last year as you may know. the 2nd time around everything was good NOT because the first one was locked, because there wasn't anything interesting that came out while the 2nd thread was alive (aside from the BS home and away, and 5rings) so you didn't have people jumping in on the hype.
but it's that time of the year... there's way too much useful information in here to lock it. there's 850+ pages but on how many pages are people asking for hookups, or selling? about 1%
