I paid $110 for a deadstock pair recently
but for your case I don't know what the seller is looking for because it's a sample pair, shouldn't be that expensive it's a GR color

I had sample Beethoven Kobe 9's and samples are only worth a lot if they werent released later, and in your case and mine they were. Dont expect too much a change in value, if any.
Does RRS only do store credit for returns? Or do they refund to original form of payment?
I see a bunch of them listed on Ebay around $300-$400. If you check the sold listings you would see that pairs have sold from $180-300 DSAnyone know what would be a fair purchasing price for university red racers size 9.5 DS?
yes, he has him listed for 400 but i wouldnt pay more than 300. They look legit and size 9.5 are hard to come by. Im always searching and rarely find any in that size, let alone a DS pair.I see a bunch of them listed on Ebay around $300-$400. Are you getting them through Ebay?
thats cool to me just to see the process be done. I definitely dont have the cajones to do it myself. Cant wait to see the finished product.
@dragicon
Wow it's coming along nice, can't wait to see the final result.

Thanks guys! Its not as difficult as you would think... just have to be smart about the process to limit the damage to the shoes. I'll try and finish them up in the next couple weeks.@dragicon can't wait to see final product.
I could never do that. I have a hard time cutting a straight line on paper with scissors.
No problem! I've got the sherberts on tap to swap as well. I picked up a pair on disco from RRS for the $65, so I am going to try and swap them because I cannot stand the blue midsole. As for what I'm going to put on these trainers, I got my wife to approve a lunar sole. I am probably going to do a LunarTempo, in an off white with pink speckles. I am trying to find it for a low price, which is proving difficult at the moment.@dragicon first time to see actual pics of the process for Flyknits so that's cool. Been wanting to sole swap my Sherberts so this might come in handy. What soles are you planning to put on them?
I have a few questions for you if you don't mind answering them.
(Edit: Just realized you talked about #1 and it's still a work in progress so you might not be able to answer all of them, but keeping the questions unedited in case someone else can answer them.)
1. Do you buy a larger size since it'll shrink a bit? Or just applying hot water on the midsole and using shoe trees will be enough to avoid shrinkage?
2. If I don't plan on saving the midsole, would it be better to just destroy or cut out the midsole so I can safely remove the upper without shrinking it?
3. Planning to put either Lunars or use a Racer sole from another pair. Do I use the same size or size up or down for the soles?
Thanks in advance!
I sold a pretty good pair that was used for $180. I think $250 for DS is more then reasonable to be honest.yes, he has him listed for 400 but i wouldnt pay more than 300. Yeah $250 is a great price for a DS pair.

As far as your legit check, they look good..
Since July 2014. I wore them pretty heavily last year.... Its amazing how well the racers hold up with use. Those both look identically clean. How long have u had the OG pair?
