My theory from looking at all the pictures is that the Milan HTM version had a more predominantly blue color
With the GR being more pink

I don't believe so. I was on the hunt for a pair since the Milan release and the colors of the pairs I saw were just as random as these "GR" versions.

The only release pic I have seen from the original release with more blue is the images NIKE released......

The only bad thing with the Racers if you really can't rock them in any kind of jeans. I don't even wear baggy pants but I had some straight fit jeans that didn't taper that much and they just look so dumb with them on. It kind of reminds me of Vans Authentic and why I can't wear those for nothing.

Why not wear jeggings with your MC Racers? They would make the shoes definitely pop!
On another note, has anyone used the Nike + unit with their trainers? I tried it out the other day, but it moves around too much. I had to put tape on top of it to keep it in place. Is it supposed to lock into place?

After a few days, I still can't believe I missed out on the red and volt trainers on lukes locker. It made it even worse since i slept on those two when they first released, but I still refuse to pay upwards of $230 for them. I'm gonna continue to stay patient. The red, blue, and volt trainers will be had...eventually.
Otherwise, wore my MC racers out for the first time and love em. I didn't like my color blocking at first, but they grew on me and I stopped caring soon enough.

+1 on the cuff. I only rock racers with pants (jeans, khakis, etc) that are cuffed, makes em look way better.

Ended up buying a pair of MC racers on ebay (170 plus shipping), which i plan on using for 5-10k runs.
