Getting so sick of having to re-tie my racers w/ these ribbon laces. I know I know, rope supply. Am I doing something wrong currently though? wtf was nike thinking.

/rant
Didn't Nike switch from round laces to ribbon laces because runners complained about them always coming untied? Coulda sworn someone mentioned that in this thread a while back.

since I never wear my black/whites, decided to try painting them for fun. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Need to do a few more coats of paint and figure out how to heat-set almost a whole shoe.

^^^those look good

seeing all these oreos on the bay makes me so happy that nike has continued restocking these. as others have been preaching, this is the way things should always be

Man, I hope Nike continues with this shoe for a while. It's literally a classic.

There's really not much else in the athletic/sneaker world that I've been able to convince myself to wear in the last three years.

Had never heard of them had to look it up.

They're on point? I'm not too familiar with Adidas outside of their soccer stuff.

Running not soccer, good review there. Still love Racers but I can see why some people enjoy UB's. Grabbed the all whites.

I've read over and over that the first UBs have really bad durability. People seem to log only ~70mi for the stretch web sole to wear down. I really can't wait for adi to address that issue.

i still think asics are the leaders in running footwear, racers are ok but for me they dont offer the support. working all day i much prefer gel lyte v's over racers, however racers do look so nice and are very breathable during summer

They are pretty minimal, but that's expected for a Racing flat. Speaking of non-Nikes, I recently purchased some Hoka One One Clifton 1s, and I'm very impressed with them. I know they look hideous, but, they feel so GOOD! They make the Pegasus feel like cardboard. #nojoke

Do most of you people run on your forefoot? I suck at running, so I mostly stole my heel first. I'm really enjoying my flyknit maxes for running

not sure if this is flyknit related but I was looking through the air max DB pics and i wanted to know if anyone knew what shoes he was wearing cuz they do not look like his own design. the shoes hes wearing in the picture kinda look like the old flyknit trainers but can you guys help? Also if you can identify it, i was wondering where to cop

dont dip your toes into the Adidas UB arena. There's no turning back. Once you cop one, nothing else really matters. REAL TALK.

When I started to run I used to be a heel striker, but, as I started running more and more, I transitioned and developed a mid-forefoot strike.

the UB's releasing in 2016 have their outsole made by continental. adi also redesigned the outsole nubs. hope those work.

after acai berry racers, any racers coming out in the horizon?

I think the fire berries are supposed to be a spring release, as well as the blue olympic edition sometime in spring/summer.  DEB was saying there will be a lot of retros this year, (Oreos 1, MC 1, OG Volt, OG orange, B/W)... we shall see what happens though.

Thought I would step out in my uni reds today, but I damn near froze my foot off after an hour outside this morning.

A sign of the racer-less months to come...
