Is the lunar sizing suggestion a half size down from the racer? So if you wear a size 9 racer, get a size 8.5 lunar model?

do you do the swap yourself? I am assuming that whoever does it uses the hot water method and that is why you half size up on the racer because it will shrink when heat is applied?
