Im not 100% on this reason, but i think if you've participated in their running club/meets in their store locations you might have had a good chance. My email came from the NRC running club and it fell in the same spot where I'd get Nike Grove updates and running notifications in the LA area. 

BUT AGAIN IM NOT 100 on that reasoning.
