Took a pair of Electric Greens with 300 miles in them that I got at the outlet in the first place, painted them black, and swapped the laces to get somewhat of an OG Sequoia look. Not the best paint job but a fun experiment none the less. Plan to keep running in them :D

To each his own but I think the electric greens are straight fire. Bought a pair for my brother back when they launched and copped a bw myself. Should've stocked up on both, or maybe some volts or wb.

Nice experimenting though, I'm thinking of picking of greyvolts or pinkblues on the cheap for a custom.

Did you use Angelus?

Yea, used Angelus. Shoes came out kind stiff from the paint at first but became softer after running in them again.

Thought the blue was some what of a stamp, but you're good. Legit.
cc: @Jwinn  That's how most stamps tend come out. I think that blueish tint is the result of the stamp being kinda "melted" onto the upper. I think it heats up enough to like transfer some of the black from the tongue if that makes sense. But fear not, those are 2legit2quit. Nice cop.

@rafsjays how do you like the Orange racers? I have those in trainers, regretted not getting it

thanks for the reply! theres still hope left for this thread after all!!

Sorry I just had to live chat with RRS - its my turq/volt preorder... I thought they pushed back my Black/whites because there was no information about what color was delayed.

I could understand wooden shoe trees for moisture reasons, not those plastic things

Exactly. Cedar shoe trees are used to absorb moisture from leather shoes/boots and help retain the shape after a days wear. After 24 hrs you don't need em anymore.

I don't see the point at all for shoe trees in sneakers unless you wear the same pair everyday then you'll maybe see some deforming issues....

Don't buy into the notion of using shoe trees for your sneakers. Lol

I love em, was my second pair of racers after the volts.

for the those questioning, the shoe trees actually do help keep the shape. My BW trainers were starting to look pretty beat and misshapen and the shoe trees fixed that. and for $.99 ;)

interesting. I'm sure they do.

FLyknits are the one shoe(s) i don't even put back into the box sometimes. they just lay around in the closet or wherever else they may be for me. I just pick them up and give it a quick dust off and we;re off.
