Thanks for posting. Weird how the card says it's the trainer when it's clearly the racer. Wonder if the red pair is the same from the photo daazn posted a few pages back

To me these and the volts posted look like a cross between the trainers and racers. The upper looks like the lunars and the midsole looks more like the racers.

It is the Trainer. You can tell from the Flyknit patterning around the toe box and the triangular shaped regions of the Dynamic Flywire.
Don`t forget that the Trainers released so far were HTM collaborations and used the old Lunaracer midsoles. The GR Trainer will have a midsole that is very similar to the Flyknit Racer but it is slightly thicker. There is a smooth band of phylon around the centre of the heel piece on the Trainer that is not on the Racer.

i see what you guys are saying. weird. i actually liked them with the lunar sole. it was more of a casual shoe. with the racer sole it looks designed for performance. dammit makes me want the white volt HTM trainer even more now.

I was also wondering why there were no pairs on eBay. Maybe anhuynh16 is right that they havent sold out. The high price is might stop the average consumer from making an impulse buy where as all the nike talkers are fiends and dont mind dropping that much.

apparently its a long process to get these.
Most of it is Nike Marketing. You actually try it on and everything, its called the flyknit "experience" or something.

A little more info.. For those who don't want to read- summary
Basically the Flyknits should be releasing Late- July , but in small numbers (not necessarily limited just small amt). With those small numbers, Nike can test out the demand for Flyknit based shoes and continue to build on it. The goal is to establish a new line similar to Nike Lunar, Nike Free etc..

Here are some other photo's I found from Ekin being at the stadium the week before. They were demo-ing and previewing the new items, LG4, Flyknits and the new track spikes.
Can anybody explain to me what Ekin is? I know it is "Nike" backwards. Is it a an outreach department for Nike?

saw some of the release info today. the mids are scheduled for february drop and there were 3 colors available. was in a rush but i know there was at least one other flyknit model on the sheets.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't an EKIN someone who is very very knowledgeable of the technology/spec and back story of Nike and/or their specific division.Like a savant of Nike, knowing the ins and outs, backwards and forwards hence EKIN.

i haven't been scanning the release info at all so i don't know. just so happened i was talking about it and my friend showed me the pics/prices/release dates for the mids and those are dropping in feb. i think i might grab 2 pairs of the mids and rock those everyday for work.
