the tech shorts are slightly too long for my liking (short legs). thinking of hemming it an inch to cut that bottom panel in half.

Alright, I know this has been asked a million times or more, but after seeing various pictures of how tech pants fit people: Do you go true to size (same size as regular nike pants) or did you size up? I sized up because my legs are kind of big (no calves/10), and Large felt like leggings, but I feel like my XL's have more slack than I would like.

Go with an XL, and wash em... if you don't feel comfortable doing that then maybe these aren't the pants you're looking for?

I'm just wondering other peoples preferences, as stated I have XL's in these because Large was way too tight. Just asking everyone's preference, because I know some people out there did go true to size for these.

Well, my gray pants from the recent NDC restock arrived today and I can say I'm extremely pleased. The last pair I ordered in medium (black 2.0's) was way too loose in the thighs and had the diaper effect, for reference I'm around 5'9" 140. I sold them right away because of how bad it looked. I knew a small would look like leggings so I just recently ordered this new pair also in medium, and what do you know, they fit perfectly. Fingers crossed the thigh area doesn't stretch out too much.
