I'm about 5.7 short guy. but i think the AW 77 size L are lil bit loose for me but the wind runner fit better for me size L.

5'10 175 here.. I do wear M for casual sweaters but I prefer L for tech fleece crew, AW77 hoodie, N98, and WindRunner (2014 versions). if you like a tighter fit, I think you should be okay with a M. I just ordered M crew sweatshirt to give them a try. you should be able to try these on in person at local FNL or Nordstrom.
