I think it's "cool" Nike's releasing shoes referencing Lebron's heros and favorite/classic nike designs, but I really wish they'd put that same dedication and creativity into releasing memorable pairs of 15's in actual relation to Lebron. Lebron's continuously breaking records and arguably one the best NBA players ever, on his 15th signature which looks incredible imo but has some of the most plain and boring colors ever, while the KD's Kyrie's and even PG have manage to make some interesting colorways
I'd like to see the 15 model really start to deliver

No I think it's more so trying to spark interest and talk in a market that isn't that popular, basketball sneakers.

and overall it's across the board, the only thing that sparks interest are collabs, gimmicks and limited sneakers

I liked them at first, but over time lost all interest. Maybe it’s the weak colorways. Rather just get some retro 2s and 3s, and 8s at this point

What we're seeing with the XV is the opposite end of the colourway spectrum. They went way too hard with some wild (and trash) colourways from the X to XIII and slammed the brakes hard with the XIV and now the XV.

I will agree with you that the XV colourways are super uninspired though. Some little touches and detailing on a minimal shoe are definitely needed.

Here's my first pair of LeBron XV. I like these the best so far in this line.
