I like them. These remind me of the Adidas Tubular X which are some of my favorite shoes and super underrated. Comfortable and look clean AF. I actually like the dragon scale knit, Ive never seen it before

Only thing I like so far is the rollout. Wonder why they sat on this design for over a year though and went with plan B for the 14. I do like the lifestyle direction, but they shot and missed on this one.

Maybe a marketing feature is the ability to either zip up the shoe (sans laces) or keep it permanently zipped up and lace for fit accordingly. I will agree with you that having to do both for each wear would be too much.
