People who didn't buy Kobe/Lebron/KD shoes were just snagging everything cause they missed out on the foams

Damn, that's a tough one. I loved both models. I'm a Mambahead by nature but I love Blue. That Chlorine blue was absolutely classic mixed with the woodgrain 3M hints.

I think the foam hype is what killed it for the rest. People did not want to go home with nothing and just bought them up. In any case galaxy themed shoes did nothing for me with the ones with the copy paste wallpaper galaxy print on them being the worst (foams, rookies, Kobe's)

As soon as I got my Christmas pair in i bought some Sulfurs. My local store doesn't stock them for some reason, but I was in love with the CW. Fit on these is awesome, maybe the best out of any Kobe yet. The only downer for me, that tongue. Why not pad the tongue? That would have made this shoe pretty much perfect IMO. It's just flat and paper thin, kinda rubs when I walk. Overall, awesome, and i wasn't even a big fan of the Christmas shoes at first. But I will echo those that said much better in person.

Yeah, pretty much my thoughts on the matter as well.

Especially since the Rookies came out like a lifetime after everything else.

Yea, agree whole-heartedly. Foams turned a lot of stuff on its ear.....I wish they never released honestly.

I dont agree at all!

The Foams didnt even release in my area last year and there was still a line 80 people deep at 6am in front of the mall. Which was unheard of for my non-Jordan release.

I just think the Galaxy theme was a great theme...so much more interesting than the past East/West colorways

I loved the Lebron 9 Big Bangs the moment, I saw them in like December. I liked the Kobe VII Galaxy colorway too but I wasnt super into them because how bad the Concord VIIs felt. ( I ended up getting a pair of them eventually though) Kinda the same sentiments with KD IV ASG shoe.

ill admit it. I was bitten by the foam galaxy hype. and I HATE foams (and im from dmv area).
I just feel like the galaxy print was rather unique for shoes. that's what the draw of all that was. it was the first time an apparent design/theme was shown on a shoe. (at least from what ive ever seen)
kobe 6s did a good job up til then with ocs east las . but these were good imo

also why if the jupiter pair (orange ones. ill just name it that) arent fake and do come out..im in

I liked the foams... Still do. I'm one of the few people out there that actually liked foams before the galaxy's (yes there are pre galaxy foam heads ).

The galaxy theme was dope, I just wish it was just a galaxy pack vs an all star galaxy pack.

I thought it was pretty cool how they did with the zkvi with the game all star shoe (traditional red based west colorway), then the other 3 pairs (OC, LA, and Hollywoods). I know Nike is all about making money, but they should also look at safety of the consumers. Also make the shoes available somewhat to the actual fans of their product. I understand they can't make a mass gr, but all star, Christmas, playoff, finals colorways should all be attainable for the actual fans. Not everyone is a "shoe head" and keeps up with this. Some are just fans of the player and would like to wear what their favorite player is wearing whether it be a regular game colorway, or a special game colorway.

CWs so far are whack on all models except the KDs. I only bought the Sulfur's because I tried them on haha. Not gonna lie, people saying that you have to go see them in person on this site made me remotely even consider them, but it definitely wasn't for the CW.

Let me just put it this way, if the WTK's were as comfortable as these VIIIs are, then I woulda copped that 5-yr old finger-paint CW in a heartbeat haha.

Hmm, look at the markings on the tongue of the KDs.. Now go look at that pair of orange fakes floating around. Looks quite similar honestly.
