There were only two releases of elites for the sevens as well. I think they just wanted to change it up with the 9's and see how it went. That's why there is gonna be more elite releases than regular releases for the 9. I would love to have seen some more elites on the 8's though because not only does this shoe have the best silhouette but it also has the best fit for me as well.
