same thing i was thinking. the quality on the pic was a little better on my phone, easier to distinguish the colors, sole is definitely not purple

Totally agree. The whole "breaking necks" comments are dumb. When you have bright pink shoes they are naturally grab people's attention. Now... if people are dropping compliments, then that's a different story.

no, the swoosh and logo are yellowish. heel clip is purple. sole and sock liner are some type of blue

It almost looks like its a blue tinted clear sole.
Off topic, but everytime I see a pic of Kobe and his daughters I wonder if hes a little dissapointed that he doesnt have a son.
