I took advantage of the 20% off that Eastbay was giving this week and I just wanted to share a new pick up that I got. Not sure if everyone saw this on their site but here's the latest tee for the Kobe line. It's on backorder as of right now but supposed to ship today or tomorrow.

I know you guys are hating on this colorway and what not but the tune will change when they are released, as usual. nobody feeling the pics but yet everyone stressing out on RD. lol. never fails. I hope they are an easy cop... any info?
I also want the graffiti's but I feel i can pull a better version out of Nike ID.

Why should anyone have to pay $40 extra to make a Laker themed colorway that is inferior, IMO, to any of the actual colorways Kobe wore during last year's Lakers' season? That doesn't make any sense to me...
There's only two Lakers c.w.(purple/gold) to my knowledge, the Amnesty (which is majorly black) and the Homes, yellow soles.
10 months in and you dont have either on the radar. In actuality the ID is the only way to get variety of Laker c.w. for the 8s. Makes plenty sense to me...

Two person have said that they have no release date so they will sell as they get their shipment in. If not today probably Thursday, check with your local FTL.

But what makes sense to a lot of us here, would be to pay $140 for a good looking Laker colorway that Kobe actually wore (ala Homes, Inlines and Amnesties).
And technically, we're not 10 months in... it's only been around 8.

Maybe he's talking from Nike's perspective. It would make sense to charge $180 for people who are dying for Laker colorways while others continue to scoop up all the other GR/QS releases.

Agreed. The kds dropped on Id with glow in the dark options while we're still waiting for just a solid upper on the 8`s. I don't care for gitd just an example

Yea it makes sense for nike I guess cuz they all get bought regardless. I just wish it was the other way around, I wish that we got all the shoes he wore and laker colorways first ( of course there gonna be some pe) and then release others after that and have the option to id the off colors

I had the same problem. Break-in didn't help. Loop the 5th hole (from bottom) does help the tongue fits closer the foot, but still, the the tongue chafes against the front of my shin, may it be just chilling with the lace loosen or balling.
Seriously, I am still curious about the cause of the issue though, given the fact that it is obvious to me right from the first time I wore them, and yet it does not bother other/majority.
Anyway, I trimmed them off. Shown here:

The logo is gone now, but I am rocking them comfortably. So I think I am cool. Hope it helps.
