Official Nike KD VIII (8) Thread - "Easy Euro" OCTOBER 17th!!

Saw the v8s in person a bit ago. Better than I expected. Pretty darn close to an air max 2014 with a heel clip and air max that reminds me a little of the am95. Can see how these would be much better for his feet than the more molded and sculpted kd7 which he never seemed to take a liking to. The red one is not overly flashy but very clean and the back of the shoe is less noticeable and obnoxious than it looks like in most pics I have seen. Would love to see a SP, or even Rucker 66 CW. Heck, at this point, I would settle for a retro Sonics CW. I would say I like these more than the 5 and 7 at similar stages in release.

The 8s are better than the 7s IMO.  I never liked the midfoot strap on the 7s.  Looks clunky to me and adds excess weight.

This lifestyle stuff is......

Only one I would even touch with a ten foot pole is the Westbrook. It makes sense to me that he started out with a lifestyle shoe because there is no expectation from the jump. Now he can ease into whatever becomes his sig and it will no doubt be an improvement. All these lifestyle shoes just seem like cheap _ _ _ knockoff imitation skate shoes.
