Great. [emoji]128542[/emoji] just another KD, i will be forced to suffer with either tightness or to much space On special releases because nike doesn't like to make 12.5s on them.
I always lol when they say how strong flywire. I'm sure it's pretty strong fiber, but go to any popular outdoor basketball court and you'll see plenty of people with hyperdunks with the flywire broken and flopping aroundflywire is made with vectran so that may be the last thing to fall apart on the sneaker
Yeah it's likely not a very early concept sketch but it could certainly be preproduction. Your logic pretty much fails tho. When designing anything, you have to have a design (hand or computer) before you can produce it. That sketch may be after they were produced but regardless, there would have had to be one damn close to it in order to produce it in the first place.
Many times it works the other way around. The designers draw the "concept sketch" when the product (shoe, car, building or whatever) is finished. That way they look like true visionaries. NOBODY draws something so close to the released product. Period. I like the sketch, the guy can draw, but that's not an "early concept" sketch by any stretch of the imagination. IMHO, of course.
i'll prob end up with 2-4prs
I'll definitely be owning at least one pair of these
Basically that's what I said, that's a post produced sketch, being so pretty and close to the final shoe. There will be a lot of hand made early sketches, but they will look very different than the finished product. When the computer enters the equation, thus measuring taking place, THEN things get closer to the final product. I know a bit of this because I studied architecture, not trying to be a smart *** or anything. A quick example, Jorn Utzon's Sidney's Opera House (inspiration for the Kyrie's BTW):

I saw someone make a good point when they said that the KD 8 doesn't have 35 anywhere on the shoe. Could he be leaving OKC?

He's not able to leave till the next shoe comes out though
Trade before the deadline. Either that or OKC risk him leaving for nothing.
not even the sneaker lover in me can overcome the feeling of feeling like a hypocrite...never been a fan of Kobe so I don't rock his apparel! Why don't you wear kobe's?? you're missing out... well not the 10, but past kobe's
I use to be like that, never brought any of the big 3s shoes bcuz I wasn't a fan of them and then I tried some pairs on and I realized my feet enjoyed comfort better than they did stylenot even the sneaker lover in me can overcome the feeling of feeling like a hypocrite...never been a fan of Kobe so I don't rock his apparel! Why don't you wear kobe's?? you're missing out... well not the 10, but past kobe's
That's great thinking ahead, I hope you have fun (that's a must!) and succeed in your future endeavors. As for the shoe,It's a pretty design, I don't know if fitted for basketball, but pretty. The materials seem way better than the previous ones in the KD line, hence the ridiculous price hike. I'm betting KD is gonna wear them all seasong long this time around.
@VLLE Yeah I think we were on the same page from the get go more or less. Just a matter of semantics lol. I'm trying to actually get into some mild designing and computer model rendering so that i can hopefully get into product development when I graduate. I would think shoe sketches from a nike designer would be decently accurate to the finished product depending on what stage they are at in the development process.
