That washer thing will be fixed very soon. Saying the Chinese don't pay attention to a detail like that (especially one so cheap/easily manufactured) is false. After living in China for ~18 months, I can tell you they're manufacturing techniques are spot-on.@DJ Proto J just explained to me that there are very very good fakes out that essentially mimic Sami's authentic pair. These pairs have been circulating in NY and are getting ridiculous prices.
Be careful. The suede and mesh is identical to the legit ones.
I'm not sure what at this point will be that distinguishing factor that separates the two. On the first two pairs it was easy to spot that a pair of plats could never get the 3m right and both pairs never perfected the GITD (green soles) nor the leather scales.
Until (if) Nike releases these I'd stay away from all sellers. Look at @fabessole on IG. I follow this guy. Don't tell me he's got 2 pairs of authentic Red Yeezys
I only know of TWO Chinese guys who are directly connected to the factory here which have distributed some pairs. I talk to them directly
As Mark says, you have got to be CRAZY careful if you're buying pairs of the Reds now. Solars as well (there are new pairs being manufactured that may not make it to the US for a while, but having a legit pair of Solars myself, I can tell you, unless you put a real pair in-hand side to side with these "new" Solars, it's getting hard to tell). I haven't seen anything remarkable on the Plat front.

even if you guys can distinguish the real and fake pairs all that these cats are popping up with out of nowhere. Are you going to purchase a pair at their price? The Red Octobers resell value is higher than the solars and plats. But it is good knowledge to know how to tell between a real pair and fake pair. Its just that some of yall are talking about suspicious payment methods like you're gonna drop that 10k range for them anyway. I am definitely not gonna spend a quarter of my total car payment for some shoes.

I wasn't being serious saying their fake. Just piggy-backing off Proto telling me that at this point some fakes are so good that you simply cannot distinguish them from the authentics.

This. From someone directly in the West/Kardashian camp, their advice is to not waste any time or money on anyone selling "real" RO's right now because there are less than a dozen REAL pairs floating around. A fool and his money are soon parted.
