I'm not saying you will, I'm asking will you buy them? Just curious
Nah. Thats just not my thing. There's no point in me buying the fakes when I'm well and capable of buying the authentics.
But just because I'm able to buy the authentics for that high price, doesn't meant I will buy those either.
I love the look of this shoe, I love the materials, I love the colors, and the silhouette. BUT Thats not worth spending 1-2 grand on them.
I had my chance to cop on RD, Nike's servers ****** me over. But that was all good. I'm still a fan of the sneaker, and who knows. Maybe one day in the future I might go against my morals right now and actually pay that price.
But fakes? I'm good on that. I don't want them that bad.
But I will tell you this - I respect that the makers of these replica's hustled so hard to get them this good. Taking comments and suggestions from their customers to give them a better quality product. Thats real hustle right there. I respect how they are going above and beyond for their customers and making special packaging (Which Nike should have done for that price they charged), pre orders, etc.
Thats quality customer support. Something I don't respect about Nike anymore.
And contrary to popular belief, these dudes buying knockoffs don't give 2 ***** that they're fake. Go watch one of those videos on youtube famb. These dudes don't lie to themselves. They know exactly what they're buying and flaunt it proudly. They don't lie to themselves about the authenticity of their shoes.
They really just don't give a ****. They just like the look of the shoes, so they get in where they can fit in.
Just because I respect what the fake sellers and buyers do, that doesn't mean I support it.
I respect people who don't give a **** and buy what they want, and wear it because they want to. Its their life.
Also, just as I said above, I respect the time and effort, and work these fake sellers are putting in. Cause they got families to feed. But just because they got families to feed, they don't forget that their customers do too. So they keep **** within their target markets range.
Everyone doesn't rock authentic kicks. Fakes have been around for a long time.
I couldn't care less if the next man was wearing a pair of fakes.
But what would piss me off is if his fakes were more well worth his money than mine were.
These fakes could be a better quality shoe for all we know. No cracking, better packaging, cheaper price... That would honestly piss me off if I just dropped that much money on my authentics and I didn't get those things...
Oh, but I got some MINOR details that he doesn't have. The eyelets on my pair aren't as light? Yeah, thats definitely worth the extra $1500...
Nah... I'm good all the way around on this one.
I've been collecting shoes since 1999-2000. I don't take this **** as seriously as some other cats because at this point, I'm not as obsessed. Sneakers don't bring me happiness or unhappiness if I can't cop. Fakes don't grind my gears, and at the end of the day, its just a hobby that I do for myself.
