If Nike implemented passwords/phrases for retro releases, these hype beast/young dudes would be dialing a friend.

The leather and build quality on these adidas Artillery Lites are so good for half the price no less, if only the Command Forces had that quality I wouldn't have passed them up.While wearing the adidas torsion artillery lite [emoji]128293[/emoji]
Wow. I need that Adidas. The leather and build quality on these adidas Artillery Lites are so good for half the price no less, if only the Command Forces had that quality I wouldn't have passed them up.While wearing the adidas torsion artillery lite [emoji]128293[/emoji]
I blame Nike's BETTER WORLD (environment-friendly) initiative. That is, Being "green" means better land use, which means less grazing, which means less cattle, which means less leather (or that leather is now much more expensive). Why was every shoe out then better than ANYTHING out now?

Because you probably grew up with it. Just like how you think the music from your generation is better than what's out now and people from the previous generation have the same feeling about what they came up with. Also shoes had a more "form over function" thing in the 90s.Why was every shoe out then better than ANYTHING out now?
Sux that you've had bad experiences with Adidas products recently. I've made the switch to Adidas for the bulk of my purchases over the years because of the decline of Nike quality. All the Adidas I've purchased have been bullet proof and held up quite well. The Kazuki Kuraishi Adidas have been especially well executed. As dope as they are these aren't on par with the command force IMO Also while I really respect Adidas for usually doing right by Retros I've had major problems with my Rivalry retro and my 80s superstar retro. I purchased 4 seperate pairs of the white grey rivalry and they all came with severely smashed toe boxes. Then my 80s superstar retro from this year started to seperate after one wear, ONE lol none of the brands quality is blow away anymore but these commands are pretty good

Are you sure about that? Just take a look at a Lebron shoe and say its all function over form. The amount of cladding, clear sole, branding, patterning, etc....Also shoes had a more "form over function" thing in the 90s.
Almost every part of todays shoes is some kind of "technology/innovation" flyknit, hyperfuse, flywire, max air, zoom air, carbon fiber, etc. Can you really look at the Lebron 12 and tell me that shoe is more about style and design than all these stupid new advancements they're making in shoe science? Back in the day you had an air unit and **** tons of leather with an absurd amount of ankle padding and they used design elements to make it look good. Its easy to see in the Jordan line how it seemed like aesthetics were the main focus but they still had performance components from the time period but as time went on, basketball shoes in general just started to look more aggressive and more catered for the court.

I can absolutely tell you that a Lebron shoe is all about form AND function.
