135 pounds + 12 pounds for shipping. So I guess VAT was included?
gov.uk says VAT is not refundable for mail order, including internet sales. so that means I probably paid VAT. https://www.gov.uk/vat-consumers/taxfree-shopping
But I avoided California sales tax, and the price ended up still lower than retail. Dunno how that works.
edit: NEVERMIND. Crooked Tongues says

CT T&C say that they don't charge VAT for customers outside EU, so I'm assuming there's no VAT to refund.

Well everywhere else is 135 or 140 pds including VAT. Also, it shows 135 for the price no matter if you select UK or USA, which is a giveaway...
