What happened with his wife and daughter? All I saw was that he hasn't been playing all that much and was listed day to day for a few weeks

^His wife just had their baby girl.........So he flew to Florida to be with her, but was back in net for the Minnesota game (in which he gave up 4 goals andgot pulled). He will be starting the rest of the games and i'm pretty positive he isn't listed as day to day anymore.

Buffalo got a win that they desperately needed today against Boston in OT. Minnesota helped out Edmonton/Vancouver by beating the Av's in OT.....I suppose1pt is better than 0 for the Av's.

The Devils have 4 games this week. They better play well going into the playoffs otherwise they are only going to be there for one round. Hopefully they golonger, but I have no expectations.

4-1 Caps beat the Hurricanes..

both w. 90 points with 2 games left in the season....

EVERYONE was wearing red at the verizon center...the Caps have definitely surpassed the Wizards in attendance...the place was UNBELIEVABLE tonight...

Ovechkin w. his 63rd goal, and the M-V-P chants for the last 4 minutes of the game....

WOW....if the Caps can somehow sneak in the playoffs, it would be one of the most amazing turnarounds in NHL history, considering where they were beforeBoudreu took over...

Big win for the Devils tonight clinching a playoff spot. They have a game in hand on most teams in the east so hopefully the Pens faulter a bit and the Devilscan get home ice. They have to rest Brodeur though. I was psyched seeing the Caps win tonight, I hope they sneak into the playoffs. They are a fun team towatch. The young guys they have should make them a solid team for years to come with guys like Ovechkin, Backstrom, Huet, Green, Semin, etc.

to watch....finally the seats are filling up and they'retalking hockey in DC. I'd love for them to sneak in at the 8 spot instead of Philly.

@ Ottawa losing tonight at home to a depleted Canadiens lineup. I really haveno idea what's going on with those guys, Spezza led by example dropping the gloves tonight trying to get something going with those guys but it clearlydidn't work. If they stay in that 6th spot I will take Carolina to beat them in the 1st rd FOR SURE.

CGY had a big win in Edmonton tonight and it looks like the Canucks will lose to the Av's. I really want the Oilers to get that 8th spot but it's notlooking too good anymore.

I couldn't believe the Preds came back from 3-0 the other night to win that game. Another win for my Devils tonight. Since Pitt clinched the division andthey Devils can't go further back than 5th I think its time to give Brodeur a rest. Let him sit 1 or hopefully 2 of the next 3 then play against theRangers on Sunday. Im just glad they got in and are playing relatively well.

Caps 4-1 win tonight vs. the Bolts....

Ovechkin 2 goals....M-V-P

Lightning playing DIRTY at the end of the game...summed up....they threw too many men on the ice intentionally right before the puck dropped...the man thatcame on went out ONLY to start a fight....Matt Bradley took care of business tho....

Torts team just don't care...fines/suspensions (carrying over to next season) will DEFINITELY happen

Brodeur will be starting tonight in Philly and Sunday against the Rangers.......I really don't see the point in that at all

Thank god the Canucks are eliminated from the playoffs, I can't stand them watching them and their boring %%@ team

Now all I want is for Boston to beat the Sens tonight and for some magic to happen so that Ottawa doesn't make it in! They DO NOT deserve to be in theplayoffs at all, however if they do make it in they'll be gone first round IMO. Especially since Fisher and Alfredsson are injured.

with a Caps win tomorrow, they'll lock up a spot in the playoffs...but, bottom line is they need help...

So all the caps need is a flyers loss and a win and the caps are in? If thats the case, I as a Devils fan, hope they Devils beat the %@#@ out of the Flyers forthe sake of the caps making it in. NJ is going to wind up playing the Rangers as either the 4th or 5th seed in all likelihood. Hopefully the Caps make it, theyare an exciting team to watch.

Yeah I'm hoping Jersey can beat Philly because I really don't think Philly deserves it more than Washington to get that 8th spot. I'm hoping theSens don't make it in but a few things would have to happen in order for that to go down. I believe Philly would be in if I wanted Ottawa out. Should be aninteresting weekend!

Rangers get a point tonight but with New Jersey losing to the Flyers, we can still get home ice advantage if we beat the Devils in regulation onSunday.....these last couple of days have been crazy in the East as well as the West...It's really fun to be a hockey fan at this time of year

Well, it looks like the Caps will be making it to the post-season!!! I believe all they need is 1 point tomorrow vs FLA (who beat Carolina tonight) and theyovertake Carolina in the SW Division with 93pts (CAR 92pts). It is going to be crazy in DC during playoff time!

I shouldn't have bet on NJ

I'm still nervous as hell though....Caps need to play with a sense of urgency to get that 2 points, rather than trying to settle for the 1....


I couldn't believe that Florida won the game tonight...the panthers were totally outshot, but somehow pulled it off.....not to mention they had NO powerplays, and had to kill off 9 man-advantages....unreal...


I also thought that NJ would have a better showing tonight....they looked sluggish...


well, it will be a great night to watch some hockey tomorrow...GO CAPS!
