wow at the habs. great win. they wanted it more than the pens.

and flyers....geez...what is up....game 7 yo

I'm not giving up.. I sat through that entire 4-0 debacle that the Bruins called a hockey game on Monday. Its a 1 game series now, and I still think we have the better team, but holy christ Wheeler, Looch, even Recchi, get in front of Leighton. I know its ridiculous to tell Rex to get in front but even hes strayed away from it. Looch camped down low with a minute left and what happened? Laser show. (+1 to those who get that

)

It's not over til the scoreborard says 00:00.

Flyers have a better chance to beat the Habs than the Pens and Caps had, they play a different game...first must settle game 7 though

@ Laser Show. Dustin's the man.

But in all seriousness, this one is done. I never thought I'd give up on a team like this-- hell, down 0-3 in '04 I still believed the Sox would win the ALCS-- but this series feels different.

The Bruins have slowed down considerably on both ends, and their offensive production is almost non-existant. This was more than evident tonight when Trent Whitfield (who hasn't scored an NHL goal in 5 years, may I add) was generating the best scoring chances. If Julien wants to play a down-low cycle type of game, they have to start getting more shots (and yes more traffic) on Leighton. A lot of this starts with stable possession and good puck movement, which we haven't seen since the loss of David Krejci, who did an excellent job through the neutral zone and along the boards. Since his injury, the B's have been forced to dump a lot more and when they do have possession cycle with guys a) who aren't particularly good handling the puck (Lucic, Ryder) or b) are dead tired (Recchi, Satan).

Meanwhile, the Flyers have been re-energized by the surprisingly play of Leino, and Powe, along with the return of Simon Gagne. Compound that with the always stellar Mike Richards, and Chris Pronger (you could even throw in a point-per-game from Briere) and the Flyers become a very scary team to play. Not to mention with the way the playoffs have gone this year, I almost expect something wacky like a comeback from an 0-3 deficit to happen now.

That said, I hope the Bruins can pull it out in game 7-- but I sincerely doubt it at this point.

Yeah what a comeback

i certainly didnt think they could turn this into a game 7.

win or lose im proud of this team...losing Laps, Gags (from the beginning), Carter. amazing feat.

and scott hartnell....

you finally decide to show up. (hopefully you show up in game 7)

We need to knee-cap Briere. What an effing series hes had. All the toothless scrubs have put our 'young talent' to shame, at least since game 4.

Over/Under Deadset GIFs tonight? Lets say O/U 8.5. Go.

Whoever picked MTL to win it all, not so fast. Think you might've forgot they have to face Chicago or San Jose in the final, far more complete and deeper teams than Washington and Pittsburgh. Washington shoots from the perimeter and they get low quality scoring chances, Pittsburgh is deep up the middle but the wingers are less than trash. Sharks and Hawks will both come with three lines able to score, and dmen that are much better than anything the Habs have faced so far

^ Frankly we're not even supposed to be here so I think anything is possible. Halak has become the second coming of Patrick Roy, Cammalerri is leading the league in goals during the playoffs so we can score and our defense has been shut down especially since everyone is blocking every shot on goal so I think if we get to the final, yea we're gonna face a great team but we took down Sid and Ovi so I believe that we could beat any team now but it'll still be tough. I'm not superstitious or anything but it looks like this is destiny.

Wow, I expected the Pens to smoke the Habs tonight but it was the other way around. Based on what they've done so far, you've got to think they'll be favorites over the Flyers/Bruins.

I dont remember the last time a team came back from being down 3-0 to tie a series 3-3. It'd be an epic choke job if the Bruins lose on Friday.

P.S. Leaf fans are pathetic. We've got so many Leaf fans here jumping on the Habs bandwagon and supporting this team now

Good statement...stats, superstars, regular season record, etc, all that goes out the window when the playoffs start. This NHL postseason reminded me that no team is destined for anything. The teams who play harder and more effectively win games and the Habs are the perfect example. This is probably one of the most exciting playoffs I've ever seen and whoever comes out of this mess with a cup will get immediate props from me.

just sayin..  the powerhouses out west are a different animal from the teams out east.  you'll be playing a physical, disciplined, skilled team, unlike anything they've seen much in eastern hockey.  it's not even about star power, even though you could make it about that as well, the roleplayers on Chicago and SJ are really strong.

at this point, I'll roll with the Flyers winning in Game 7 over Boston, and it'll be an interesting series with the Habs.  Pronger will be the first true #1 man dman that the Habs have faced, and their forwards are real gritty as well as skilled.

The sudden influx of Canadien avys and sigs is vomit inducing. Pick a team and follow it through the ups and downs of the organization. Its pretty lame to bandwagon a hockey team.

Mr Gonchar, Mr Malkin, Mr Letang, Mr Kunitz, Mr Fleury, and yes you to Mr Crosby please explain where you all went during this semi-final round. Perhaps looking past the Habs?

Subban is going to be a tremendous hockey player for the long term. Take a seat Mike Green there is a new guy in town.

Halak is Jesus in Red.

apparently backstrom has a deal on the table!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10 years 69 millioooooooooooooon dollars ...

Before everybody starts bashing on Habs fan, I got to say that those guys aren't fans. They are people who just come to rob shops, and were not part of the celebration. Those things happenned around midnight, so it was at the end of the festivities.

I can't imagine what's going to happen if we win another playoff
