the night before game 1...i had a dream that carcillo gave chara a two hander across the throat and crushed his windwipe...and then tried to argue the misconduct

can't stand carcillo...but he's one of those guys that gets under your skin. you only MAYBE like him if he's on your team
btw...i actually could see savy pulling some move like that...doesn't change the fact that he's still the man tho

well, both, but i meant carcillo. when he isnt being a dbag, he plays hard every shift, althogh hes rarely not a dbag.

bjm...im listening to felger and mass...one point they brought up that was solid: why the hell do hunwick and wideman continue to be paired together? they're always turning it over in our own end (richards goal last night) or screwing up royally (briere goal in game one).

maybe split up chara and boychuk? i dunno...i sort of like chara and boychuck together. i think maybe pair up ference and wideman, and then keep hunwick and mcquaid together and play them minimally

i said that to my friend yesterday after we won, i love having the double bomb threat with boychuk/chara, but if splitting them up means better team D, then im for it. wideman played his best hockey last year while paired with ferrence, and vice versa. mcquaid/hunwick shouldnt be playing more than 6 minutes a game.

What you think about chances of the remaining teams?  I favor any West team that makes it to the Final to take it all, but they might be too beat up from the 2nd round and conference finals.  Sharks would probably be my realistic pick right now.

I think Vancouver takes the west. Defensively, the Sharks are too inconsistent for me, and I'm still not counting out Detroit. Then in the east, Boston and Poopsburgh will proabbyl be the ECF, with the Pens taking that in 6 or 7.

Well, if someone is going to score, it's probably Crosby. Plus, he's from our country, but plays for the States. People are booing, but it's pretty much just for fun, doesn't mean we're not proud of him

Anyway, yeah that was a great period, it's about time Montreal gets to play harder
