yeah wondering this too

maybe he was gonna try and low ball mike into another deal

Obviously.. but I assume Chicago ain’t offering the bag to dude

It’s like with sirianni, even if the eagles keep him.. he ain’t getting some absurd deal

I’d get if it was Ben Johnson or vrabel where you know those guys are the hot names in that cycle so you have to give them solid deals to get it done then

But everyone assumed McCarthy was getting fired last year.. so you just have to give him that respectable offer given his years of experience

But you still have technical control for a few days.. but you ain’t in the playoffs.. best case for you Chicago makes an offer and you have a baseline.. but I’m sure jerruh was lowballing the hell out of dude like he’s some random no name OC

i’ve seen this floating around after Josh Jacobs comments yesterday. Maxx still under contract.

But if this were even a possibility it would depend on who the next HC/GM will be. Even then, because he’s under contract its gonna cost a few 1’s just to start the convo IMO. and that aint GB’s typical style of play. so i doubt this happens.

It's also just gross.

Walk like Denzel Walk like Denzel delete that family. >D

Jerrah running a disaster class in Dallas. They knew they weren’t going to bring back McCarthy. Now the delay costs them an opportunity to interview Belichik early, and Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn on the bye last week. Between that and them benching players keeping them from their bonus opportunity, you have to wonder who actually would want to go there and coach or play at this point. They run the team like a soap opera just wanting to grab headlines, there is no real commitment to win.

wonder if ben johnson would be intrigued by the dallas job

Jerruh wants credit and apparently wants to feel like “he won” the negotiation(s) with the guy

Not sure why any top guy would be fan casted to the cowboys if they have legit options

With the more we know cowboys and the jete are the hardest job to realistic place.. unless those guys don’t have legit multiple offers, but there are only so many jobs

So I could see defensive guys since league prefers to hire offensive guys (Aaron Glenn.. maybe flores, but he got the law suit and we know the owners are petty) or maybe kellen moore (cause I don’t think he has legit offers for HC but might take a lower market deal to get a HC spot)
