OFFICIAL NFL THREAD 2024-25: Week XVI “Merry Christmas ya filthy animals”

I still believed you go for the garunteed points with the td......but man the cinci defense is buns, should be able to trust your d to not allow a rushed td over trusting your kicker to not miss and give them a chance for the win.

nah if you need to be afraid of going up 7 with a 1:30 left, your defense is absolute dog ****

that aint brady or pat back there. it's boris ******* nix :lol
Is it always about being scared though?

I've heard Tom Brady himself say the goal is to have the ball last in those situations regardless of who the QB is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

maybe. but there's no guarantee you're scoring on 3rd down or definitely with a kicker in 2024. if you can't trust your defense to protect that lead against a rookie, it's probably irrelevant for the playoffs anyway

I wouldn’t say it’s about being afraid. They had a chance to leave them with 20 seconds and no timeouts. It was an opportunity to seal the win.

i feel you but it's no guarantee you're scoring. if you have a lead, sure take it way down as much as possible

kickers these days are no sure thing

Burrow and Chase are having amazing seasons but this is gonna end fittingly, this Bengals squad has no business in the postseason with that defense...

That's the same logic though. If you're scared to kick at the 1 yard line for the win why you out there for

I get it though, make the stop

but we all saw how goofy it looked watching Chase slide to kill time only for Burrow to say **** that lmao

Horrible punt

No flag though for contact after fair catch?

These rules are optional I swear :lol, depends on how the refs feel
