OFFICIAL NFL THREAD 2024-25: Week XVI “Merry Christmas ya filthy animals”

from what I’ve seen i think i prefer cam over shaduer too.

but i aint mad at either. Lets Go Giants.

Local dealership prob hooked him up with 10 1-2 year leases if I had to guess

Don’t doubt it.. but saw what mahomes gave his guys and that line hasn’t been great this year, albeit it has had injuries

I get if you’re paid and you have a rookie guy who might be a mid round guy or late round guy and you wanna splurge on that guy who might be some years away from his second deal

He definitely had hype but I must've missed when Pitts was considered a generational type prospect like Bowers :lol

Everybody's been expecting Bowers to tear it up in the league since he was a sophomore, Pitts only got the recognition during his last year.

This is the time of year I lock in to college football basically for the pro prospects
I love the idea of a 12 team college playoff … but there’s not that many elite teams/players for all that… this **** is cheeks so far

He has a Toyota endorsement, I’m sure they were free

I get that.. but it’s wild to me that the oline groups could legit expect all this shh

Even if they haven’t been that good for the year.. like mahomes gave them dudes Rolexes on top of other shh

These are the teams I can see making a huge-contract play for Sam Darnold, for each’s respective reason:

Saints, Panthers, Rams, Titans, and Colts.

Giants and Raiders are out because they’ll draft a QB.

Would the Panthers with Bryce playing better (plus he’s already been there), Rams who still have Stafford and sitting tied atop of their division and playing well, and the Colts who have and are developing Richardson really offer a huge contract to Darnold?

Yeah, he definitely was. He was supposed to break the mold and be a true #1 receiving threat that was a WR/TE hybrid...or as it was typically described, a true WR that played TE in title only.
Those were definitely the prognostications before the draft but they came after he broke out his junior year iirc.

We were talking about Bowers for years before he got drafted

I don't think they were the same caliber prospects coming out imo.

Well damn :lol

Hes not wrong about the media though.

Think Allen is worthy and will likely finally get his but I don't like how everybody's been saying it's all wrapped up already with the seasons Saquon and Lamar are having :lol

Lamar especially is having a historically efficient season and beats Allen in every passing category

James Harden effect with Lamar, he puts up gaudy numbers in the regular season, but disappoints come playoff time…Same time people have been waiting to anoint Josh Allen and he finally having a season that’s worthy of MVP.Hes also shown up in big games this season where Lamar has not.
