I would've fired Zac a long time ago. He shouldve been on the hot seat for a minute...they win in spite of him and I felt it was very clear, but I guess not?

The cracks and the falcons real level starting to show. Injuries haven’t helped on defense particularly in the secondary the secondary being healthy was saving this defense *** and now it’s all falling apart on that side with dudes going down. Regardless of that it feels like we play prevent the whole game. Jimmy Lake so scared of giving up one play for 20+ it’s like he’s not noticing he’s just trading that to give up 20+ on 3 plays Raheem Morris gotta that together. Lake the one guy on this staff I don’t have confidence in going forward. Kirk’s limitations starting to show more and more and it’s slowly holding the offense back. If he’s protected things work fine but he’s slow and can’t move it’s starting to limit the variety of play calls we can run. If we can’t call play action cause he can’t move that’s a problem if we can’t even call PA cause of that we can’t even think to try bootlegs and RPOs to give the defense something to think about. Every time he gets hit it feels like it’s about to be a sack fumble.
All that being said it’s about what I expected going into the season. Good enough to win the divison and end the playoff drought which I think we’ve still shown BUT I didn’t expect much more than that.
Most important things like learning who still needs to be here on the offensive side of the ball (bye Pitts) and who we may need to cut (sorry Grady) to save money and fix the defense and if the coordinator we got can do that we getting answers to that.

Yeah it was fun and all but this team has a lot of issues that need to be addressed. Kirk can’t scramble and pick up a few yards if needed, pass rush is abysmal, AJ Terrell is overpaid (my opinion).

I hear this and I agree to an extent. He’s not good enough for us to act like we in win now mode/deep playoff run mode or we didn’t need a succession plan and go all in. But he is good enough for us to have a winning season again, win the division and most importantly evaluate the offensive talent cause we couldn’t do that before with how bad the QB play was.

That’s true and it is but I think it’s worth it in the end. We now know for sure Bijan and London are legit Mooney a legit number 2 receiver the O line is legit good for pass blocking and run blocking especially when healthy. Pitts is completely expendable. The team just needs to be smart about what to do going forward with what we know for sure now.
Plus there’s an out in two years and the dead cap hit ain’t back breaking in today nfl. He not gonna be here past next season.

I’m cool on Pitts, he can flourish (or not) elsewhere. First 3 picks in the draft should be on defense too.

That’s where I was once we signed Kirk. Win the division, make the playoffs, maybe sneak a wild card win depending on the matchup.
Defense is a step up from last year but still needs work. Every team has injuries but we don’t have depth so once someone is out it shows.
Oh well. They lost move forward to the next. 5 games left, 4-1 or 3-2, gotta have it

To piggyback. The Falcons were supposed to be like 0-4/5 to start the season. Got lucky. That luck seems to be running out.

Handful of reasons niners are stuck in mud, injuries being a reason (but who isn’t injured by week 10?)
League’s caught up to Shanahan’s playbook. What’s making it worse is niners receviers don’t seem like they can beat man coverage. KOC, spags, macdonald shut down the niners offense playing majority of man and niners can’t get separation. Deebo is looking old and slow out there. He’s not a good route runner but used to eat on those underneath crossing routes where he’d catch in open space and win with speed and strength. Those days are behind him.
Defensively, they can’t stop the run or get home when bringing four, and this is where injuries on the dline are hurting. Niners have one of the best young secondaries but it’s being wasted because leonard floyd and maliek collins have been largely ghost. Bosa, bruh hungover from the elections. Sorenson is hella conservative and never brings a 5th rusher. Once bosa got injured yesterday, Geno went to work with a clean pocket
Niners szn is cooked. Whatever wins they get from here until January will just be to avoid being at the bottom of the west
