Bryce Young at practice today

I feel so bad for Bryce... Tepper kind of screwed him over. Reich didn't want to draft him and this new dude obviously isn't fond of him. Idk man hopefully the kid gets a fresh start somewhere.

Canales was brought in specifically for Bryce. You don't think he knew what he was getting into? Don't you think it's possible that he is realizing what Reich already knew?

There's no point keeping Diontae around anyway...it's tank season for Carolina. Bryce will get more starts, Legette will be the #1 and Jonathon Brooks will activated from the IR. Complete youth movement. It's now or never for BY.

We get it bro. Every Howie move isn’t a home run. You won

Now how about those Jets? How are those great Joe Douglas moves working out for yall?
But Nick told me it was Saleh's fault and that they'd improve the moment he got fired

Maybe he pulls a Ben Johnson and stays with us if the only openings available are trash... I could see the jets or jags going after him. This is the best our offense has looked since Jay Gruden
I don’t know if Kliff is as personally invested in Quinn as Ben is to Campbell. Ben basically owes his career to Campbell while Kliff already had a reputation. If we win a playoff game or two and Harris makes him a top paid OC then we can maybe keep him. Just really comes down to what Kliff values at this stage of his relatively young career.

Unless there’s some type of salary cap for coaches that I’m unaware of. I’m surprised some of these teams don’t match the salary being offered for some of these highly sought after coordinators. Especially if it’s clear they’re a critical part to the teams success.

No guarantee they take it as I’m sure the status and position of being one of only 32 NFL coaches is appealing. But I’m sure getting the same way with less pressure and expectations is as well. As much money as these NFL teams make, I know they can afford it.
No salary cap on coaching staffs and coordinator salaries generally aren’t disclosed but are generally in the 1-5M range. Not all billionaires are equal and market forces are still at play. Hard to justify paying coordinators more than HCs. At some point you have to look at ROI if your team isn’t consistently contending for and winning SBs.

You don't want Kliff long-term anyway. He's good for Jayden in the right now, but as he gets more developed, I think he'll need someone that can help him elevate even further and I'm not sure Kliff has really changed that much to warrant that role. Quinn will attract many and succeed with many, so I don't think that'll be a huge issue.

I like that these new NFL gms get active when it comes to trading. Growing trades were super rare and when you did see them, they'd be in the off season.
