OFFICIAL NFL THREAD 2024-25: Week XI

I’m all for every athlete to get his, but when you have two years left on a rookie deal, I’m gonna have to tell you to go suck a D.

No man.
But the owners negotiated rookies being eligible for extensions after their 3rd year in the CBA. So they can’t be mad at guys wanting an extension as soon as possible when they’ve proven their worth.

Bengals need to be careful. When you start exercising fifth year options and play the franchise tag game the team loses a lot of financial flexibility with the cap because it’s all considered base salary for that year. Get a deal done now so you can at least restructure it in future years for cap relief and extend the SB window.

While improbable, I can at least rationalize the tyree catch

With the Odell catch, dude did it with like 3 fingers on top of contorting his body

Seeing Bill on this Inside the NFL all giddy is hilarious

Everyone involved in football really makes themselves miserable to enjoy the sport even for a little bit (well for him)

IATT IATT you heard anything about Cable Bahamas and if they're gonna carry Sunday Ticket/Redzone?

Posting for rolaholic rolaholic because he is clearly INVESTED

Well it's the highest profile contract situation/stand off going rn so obviously gonna be posting about it :lol

There's nothing interesting about Dak's situation when we know they're gonna pay him market value eventually.

All of his contemporaries/draft mates have already gotten paid

I said yesterday though that I could see it going the way of JJ last season. There's built up goodwill so they decide to push negotiations to next offseason and he plays the season.

Hopefully he doesn't have to get injured like JJ did but there's recent precedent for him still getting paid without anything settled before the season.
