**** man
Market dictates qb paydays. Dak was an mvp candidate for a lot of last year. No franchise walks away from that. We see teams with terrible qb play and we all know they don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell at a winning season. This is a copout... If they truly didn't have faith in him, he'd be on another team. Regardless of when they paid him, he got paid.

He won't be leading it

Idk... Having a mid/above average QB in a rookie contract>>>>>>having a mid/above-average QB on a 60 million dollar salary. At least you could build the rest of your team upThis. Folks do this with just about every new QB contract with little thought to the alternative. So, what? Let him go, lose a few games so you can get a Trevor Lawrence? There's really not very many guys in the world who could be a top 20 QB in the NFL.
Lol why dude give up on the sack

I feel you and I can see that perspective but paying 60 million a year to mid QBs doesn't seem to be conducive to a team's future. The league will figure something out eventually because they can't keep paying guys like Dak and Trevor all this money when guys like Baker and Geno are making way less and still have competitive teams.Except there's no guarantee you get "mid." I agree if the success rate was higher, but it feels a bit less than 50/50.
