I don't have much sympathy for Josh Gordon. He has a job that most people would kill to have and he consistently ***** up. It's like he doesn't even want it that bad. Any of us get caught with substances as much as he has and we're out of a job and standing in line at the local soup kitchen.

It's crazy how people look at these young and clearly misguided athletes and tell them to grow up, when it's clear they have issues. If it were as simple as "growing up" it would've been done. Sitting here and judging a guy for "just drinking and smoking weed" is easy when you're not the one with the issue.
If they're so misguided and plagued with issues then maybe the profile of being an athlete who's constantly in the spotlight isn't for them.

I have no issue with the athletes and hope they can turn their lives around. People make mistakes.

I have issues with the clowns who run around tossing up #FreeJoshGordon and acting like athletes shouldn't have personal accountability.

problem is you have people with the #FreeJoshGordon crap because he has a problem

can't have it both ways but they want it both ways

those are his biggest enablers

what people want of josh gordon
what josh gordon wants for himself
and what josh gordon should want for himself

are all different things

he clearly have problems and football shouldn't be a priority until its fixed.
i hope you people who argue for josh gordon see that

If TMZ or Deadspin never posted that pic, we wouldn't even be discussing him.

It's obvious he's trying to stay out of the spotlight and get himself together.

Proving my point.

TMZ or Deadspin aren't going anywhere. And when they get a pic of Josh Gordon, we discuss it.

Maybe its not for him.

These guys should be capable enough to adapt to a non-NFL life.

Josh Gordon posted all that to his Instagram, not like TMZ or Deadspin did some deep digging

so clearly not trying to stay out of the spotlight

This probably applies to more than half the league, man. But there are some who have more trouble adjusting than others.

Also, there's a reason why the NFL changed that *******t policy.

How do you feel about the USC coach who just got fired?

Never said they dug deep, they put the article out because we haven't heard anything about him in a while is the point I was making.

So if I'm bouncing back from an issue that was troubling my life and I'm feeling well about my current progress, I can't post a pic on IG without people thinking I'm trying to be in the spotlight??

As an athlete you have genuine fans who really care about you on and off the field, social media is the easiest to be in contact with people in 2015.

Hey guys..so a cool thing just happened today and I wanna share it with you guys.

So my mom has Breast Cancer (already went through chemo and got her re-constructive surgery done so she is back to normal)

Anyway they have this contest for the Sunday game against Denver that people with BC are entered in to go on the field before the game and cut the pink ribbon while the players are all on the field, and there is also a lunch in and seats given to them as well.

So my aunt wrote this story about my mom, and she won the contest :lol :hat

So she wants me to go with her, and this Sunday she's and I will be on the field cutting the pink ribbon right before kickoff.

Gonna be a really cool time and I'm real happy to be apart of it!

Plus I get to see Manning live for the first time :hat ..

@FinallyFamous

That's awesome. Hope you guys have a great time :hat

I've lost family and friends to breast cancer and some are still suffering from prostate cancer and lymphoma so I know how hard it can be for the person who's sick as well as their family, so enjoy it. Hopefully this is just the first of a lot of happy news to come. :hat

I hope your team gets washed by 40 though.

Gonna burn one for Josh in his honor of his path to redemption tonight

Are the rulings on Gordon inconsistent? I thought it followed the procedures laid out in the last deal and conduct policy

Fair enough

I just find too many people making excuses for his actions while thinking he should be playing this Sunday

I hope the kid gets it together because he's got rare talent which is being wasted

we got murders and women beaters playing but my man Josh Gordon smokes a lil weed, drinks a lil booze, and he's outlawed for a year. disgusting.
