Mike can't hit or block like Hines :hat

Tim Brown or Irvin? That's a solid debate there

Jerry Rice is the Robert Parrish of NFL receivers. I would HOPE that after he retired, he would have all the receiving records.

Unfortunately, Michael Irvin and Sterling Sharpe retired prematurely. Both were in the broadcast booth while Jerry Rice was still playing. And he entered the league before them.

Fun fact of the Day (again): if you only use the first 12 years of Jerry Rice's career, he'd still be the all-time leader in receiving yards (16377) and only two TD's shy of Randy Moss (154).

He doesn't just have "all the records" because of longevity. :D

So.... he'd be the leader in receiving yards, in a pass heavy offense? I woud say this though, Rice played outdoors, Moss and Irvin played on turf. But, Irvin was a beast at University of Miami on grass so, he would be good anywhere.

It's not like Rice was physically better then Mike. We aren't comparing Calvin to Welker where you can see the speed, size, jumping ability and undeniable differences. He just played longer and had more targets. If Randy had rings and played every down I'd say he was better then both of them.

-he had 2 HOF QBs
-He played on Grass instead of Turf
-he played longer :lol
-he was targeted more

:rollin

Who gives a ****. They retired.

Stop with the hypothetical crap in here. It's tired.

Maybe they should have taken better care of their soft serve bodies. Worthless bums.

Since longevity is the defining factor, I guess Brett Favre is the greatest QB because he literally was first string for 21 years, as well :lol :rollin

How is 88 ahead of Tim Brown? Tim was stuck with crappy QBs (no HOFer for him), an inferior RB compared to ES22, worse team overall so obviously no SB. But he still dominated and did on the college level as well. Irvin has the luxury of those incredible Cowboys teams, Timmy had nothing

Michael Irvin isn't even top 50 in touchdowns and barely top 25 in receiving yards. Dude is barely better than Santana Moss. Santana Moss won a title at the U, right?

I said this yesterday and got no response.

Everyone must have Farve and Emmit as the best All Time. If they don't the Rice argument wouldn't hold weight anymore.

Blame Al for putting Marcus Allen on the backburner. Al was even going to bench Tim Brown at one point. Tim Brown was drafted ahead of both Irvin and sharpe in 1988. Blame the Davises
