Stone island cw/blocking is cool, just not feeling that mesh. Carhartts are the better looking shoe, to me.

Carhartt v6 better than baklava (to me)
991v2 is a model I wanna try, but not at the stone island colorway or price premium
C notes are nice on foot. Pricey but unbelievably classic cw, super clean. Comfortable too.

Stoneys for me, I hate that model they used for the Carhartt’s. That midsole shape and meh, it just looks weird to me.

I picked up the Bembury 990 v2’s tonight for $200 shipped cause I’m not feeling either release. The Stone Islands do look nice and clearly well executed (esp that sole!) but $300 retail nice? I wouldn’t wear them enough to justify it. The Carhartt cw isn’t bad but I don’t really care for it on the v6 at all. Just looks bland to me.

Those are mid. White sock liner. White outlined N. Feel like they could be way better considering some core maroons are fire
