its up to you man, make the comparisons, google some images of USA ones compared to Asian ones..and if you dont like em then venture out to diff models..theres alot to choose from

definitely... I don't understand all the hate on 574's - they're kinda like the equivalent of AF1's for New Balance's or something - affordable enough where almost anyone can buy them, worn the world over by people in almost every segment of society, race, color, creed. They are a totally populist, democratic shoe, and aside from releases like the Mojitos, they don't really pretend to be anything more. Yeah as people who collect NB's most of us aren't going to be too excited about a GR 574, but in a way they make the quality and brand philosophy of New Balance available to almost everyone (well arguably in the "First World" that is).

Very well said demiller, I agree the 574 isn't exactly the nicest model that New Balance has but it's still a relatively comfortable shoe that is easily 1/3 of the price of most pairs of Nikes or Jordans. My first pair of NB's was a GR 574 made in Asia and although I agree the toebox is really fat and ugly, I got them for 30$ and I still wear them a lot as my beaters.
I say if you're on a budget and you want to get a feeling of what New Balance is all about and what separates them from most shoe companys, pick up a pair of 574's. If you pickup a pair for less than 50$ (which isnt too hard to find since they are sitting on many clearance racks) you wont be disappointed

Well I have to say they are a UK 576 pack... meaning the quality will be legendary. But on the other hand, like the workers pack, they'll probably eventually go on sale. I got my Roy Bells for $140, and I think those were a lot more hyped than the Race Days. I'd say give it a month or so, but if you want to guarantee you get them, then grab them now.

F*uck those mints have been one of my grails since i first started collecting NBs. I had a chance to buy a pair a couple months ago for $400 but they had midsole chipping pretty bad so i had to pass. I guess that was the issue with these, amazing shoe, but chip prone midsole. I honestly have not seen a pair my size DS for under $1000 any time recently. Insane that you have both from the pack. Repped.

My pair of Roy Bell shoes came in just a few days ago and I'm already eyeing another pair of 576! The quality is truly the best. I'll take your advice and wait because I paid a similar amount for my Roy Bell shoes.
