Two new balance drops in the next month? Don’t really see it, but sure. You were also teasing this 991v2 cw as coming last year along with the Garden joints and it‘ll end up being almost half a year later before those drop.

I’d love to see some variety in Ronnie’s release schedule but the past two years have repeated cadence and brand with drops so my expectations are understandably low.

Which model/series would you guys say is your preferred distance-walking/traveling shoes: the 99X series, the 860v2/1906/2002 series, the modern runner series (1080s, 880s, 860s, etc.), NB 1000, 9060s, etc.?

I'm looking to get a 1906R soon and hope that it can be a great travel shoe since the 1080s can tire my legs and feet out, the 990v6s kinda bottoms out a bit over a certain time, and the 990v4s feel a bit too firm over long distance (for me).

For modern NB, these two aren’t on your lists, but I find the RC Elite v2 or SC Elite v3 UNDOUBTEDLY the MOST COMFY NBs that I own.

I primarily wear them for performance, but I have no shame wearing them casually, as they are COMFY AF.

990v3, v5 and 993 are my go to for traveling or long walks.

For me the 990v6 will go all day without hurting. Two downsides are I can slip them off & the tongue doesn’t lay flat. Ever. Hard to find the perfect size in that shoe being a big footer.

990v3/990v4/997 are a close second, although they provide a different feel on the foot.

990v5 I could never get my foot to “lock in”, so I gave up on those.

990v2/998 style are way too tight/narrow in all the wrong places, gave up on those too.

If you don’t really care about looking cool I recently got the 860v13 (or 14 I forget) for walking with my dog and walking around on a trip I had planned. They are super comfy and prob will be my go to from now on. Just wish they had better colors
