Does New Balance typically try to minimize access to pairs on hype collabs for early reviews?

I can’t find anything on the jjjjound 993s.

And they’re supposed to release on the 15th.

ALD just cancelled my Mismatch 997 order from the Black Friday launch saying that during their quality check at the distribution center, the shoes were unsellable due to damage. They did say the following to me:

Additionally, as a gesture of goodwill, we would like to offer you a complimentary replacement pair of the same item. This will be shipped to you between March and May of 2025, with no further action or charges required on your part.

It’s nice that they are sending a make good. Seeing the date range for the replacement to be shipped, it leads me to believe that they will be restocked next year. For those that missed out, it may be good to wait before paying resell.
