U basically asking if u should buy a US or UK walking shoe. Neither for the gym unless you just doing elliptical and stair master all day

Well yeah, I wasn't giving him financial advice. Pretty sure he knows the price. But I do think the fuel cell makes the v2's a pretty solid walking and running shoe even if it's not a frontrunner in modern performance.

Are 997's prone to midsole crumbling due to old age? Been eyeing a 10 year old pair on FleaBay but am hesitant to pull the trigger.Yeah folk.. I been eyeing the 997GY and also these two gems at the end of the year...

yes they do crumble. at least my pairs from the 90s. the ones from 10ish years ago might be ok, but maybe not for long
